There’s more than one way to support the mission. These flexible, tax-wise giving options allow you to make an impact now or in the future—whichever best fits your situation and goals.
Planned giving is more than a transaction—it’s a process that leads to real transformation. From the moment you begin planning to the moment lives are changed, every step of your gift is stewarded with care. Here's how your generosity fuels the mission:
You explore smart, strategic ways to give—like appreciated stock, real estate, or retirement assets—to maximize your impact.
Your gift is entrusted to the FOCUS Mission Foundation and managed according to best-in-class practices to support long-term mission goals.
Your generosity funds missionaries, equips campus outreach, and supports ongoing evangelization.
Students encounter Christ, vocations are born, and the Church is renewed on campus and beyond.
When you include the FOCUS Mission Foundation in your estate plan, your generosity helps bring Christ to souls who may never have heard the Gospel. Thank you for ensuring that the mission of FOCUS will thrive for generations.
Gift planning involves helping benefactors fulfill the call to generosity that God has placed on their hearts. Sometimes, that is by leaving a gift to support the mission of FOCUS / FOCUS Mission Foundation in their wills or trusts or by beneficiary designations — gifts that will be made after they’ve passed from this life. Sometimes, it involves helping benefactors make gifts to benefit the mission now in ways that expand impact by giving from assets or accounts rather than only from a bank account or monthly income.
Through gift planning, benefactors can often make a greater gift than they ever thought possible while also caring for their families and stewarding their resources wisely. These gifts may reduce taxes, provide income back to the benefactor, or unlock the ability to give from non-cash assets such as retirement accounts, real estate, or business interests.
Above all, gift planning is about aligning one’s resources with one’s deepest values and desire to share in the mission of evangelization. It is a way to leave a lasting legacy of faith that blesses future generations with the hope of the Gospel.
